Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Handle day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting in line with US GAAP, Ind AS, or IFRS
• Ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting to applicable authorities, including NFA or equivalent regulatory frameworks
• Gain a deep understanding of operational and settlement workflows; support Trade Operations and Settlement teams through daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and attestations
• Support the design, documentation, and implementation of finance processes, policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks
• Work hands-on with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms
• Apply strong knowledge of financial products and relevant accounting standards
• Prepare financial statements, schedules, and statutory disclosures for regulated financial services or broker-dealer entities
Role Impact & Success Measures
• Strengthen and scale in-house accounting and financial reporting capabilities
• Drive process standardization, consolidation, and operational efficiency across finance functions
• Ensure availability of accurate, real-time financial data for management and external stakeholders
• Manage multiple legal entities with respect to period-end closures, audits, and statutory compliance
• Collaborate closely with Trading, Trade Operations, Treasury, and external advisors to achieve optimal financial outcomes
• Support organizational growth by contributing across Accounting, Treasury, Settlements, and Reporting
• Build long-term subject-matter expertise across accounting, reporting, and regulatory environments
• Demonstrate strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA
• 3–8 years of experience in banking, broker-dealer, or regulated financial services environments
• Prior exposure to regulatory reporting is highly preferred
• Experience with capital and liquidity reporting in financial institutions is a plus
Technical & Functional Skills
• Strong hands-on expertise in US GAAP and IFRS
• Practical experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including settlements and market operations
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting
