Position Outline
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance professional to support the financial operations of a growing multi-site Australian hospitality group operating across 7 hotels and associated venues. This role involves high-volume transactional processing, reconciliations, and end-to-end debtor and creditor support within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily journal postings into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial controls.
• Manage end-to-end debtor and creditor support, including invoicing, reconciliation, and payment processing.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations across high-volume accounts.
• Prepare and send debtor invoices promptly.
• Reconcile creditor invoices for approval and payment processing.
• Complete reconciliations primarily using Microsoft Excel.
• Utilise and adapt to various software tools, including Opera and Micros, as well as other systems as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams, other departments, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Communicate effectively via email and telephone to resolve queries and support financial processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly high-volume reconciliations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Infor, Opera, and Micros systems is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Amenable to a hybrid work setup (onsite in Ortigas, Pasig, once every two weeks).
