Finance Manager - Reporting and Controls, Sri Lanka

About the role

Based in Sri Lanka, the Finance Manager will cover all aspects of financial accounting and reporting for these countries including month end close, treasury, tax, audit, statutory reporting, P2P and R2R liaison with the shared service center.

What you will do

• Financial Reporting: overall responsibility of month- end close covering all Finance pillars (P2P, R2R, O2C etc.

• Tax, Legal & Statutory (TLS) reporting you will work together with global and local tax support partners to comply with local tax compliances and tax audits

• End-to-end execution of Treasury related operations (FX, Factoring, IC Loans Reconciliations, Derivatives, Debt etc.) and run working capital initiatives to ensure optimal cash management

• Maintenance of financial controls – ensuring adherence to Flora Food Group accounting policy/ Flora Food Group policy and raising awareness of risk management and financial controls compliance

• Manage the Insurance portfolio of the company. Laise with Insurance partners to access risks / exposures and renew policies on time

• Recruit, retain and develop talent; contribute to global Flora Food Group Finance function agenda, with a focus on improving capabilities that can be leveraged locally.

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

• We are looking for a Finance Manager with 3-5 years of experience in Finance, with deep understanding of local tax requirements in Sri Lanka

• Professional qualification in Accountancy / Degree in accountancy from a recognized University together with training experience in a Big 4

• In depth knowledge and skills in following finance areas: Net Revenue management, Budgeting and Costing, Reporting

• Strong analytical skills to assess risk and be financially savvy; with Excel, Power Point and experience with SAP is mandatory

• Entrepreneurship mindset in goal orientation

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to build relations and coordinate across multiple stakeholders

• Prior experience in FMCG will be an added advantage.
