MISSION :
• Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
• Prepare general ledger for the group closing, local FSA closing and local Tax filing.
• All Finance matter (Controllership, Tax, Treasury, FP&A) of 2 legal entities (COFACE Japan branch and COFACE Service Japan) is covered by 3 Finance persons
• We are seeking individuals who have the willingness to acquire a broad range of Finance knowledge, can manage multitasking independently, and can collaborate to maximize the team's output
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Accounting:
- Lead monthly/ quarterly IFRS base accounting closing, in a timely and accurate manner
- Lead quarterly J-GAAP base accounting closing, in a timely and accurate manner
• Reporting:
- Lead monthly/ quarterly IFRS base reporting, in a timely and accurate manner
- Lead quarterly J-GAAP base regulatory reporting of COFACE Japan branch, in a timely and accurate manner
- Lead annual J-GAAP base reporting of COFACE Service Japan, in a timely and accurate manner
- Coordinate and support ad-hoc regulatory submissions
• Internal Control and compliance:
- Lead regular internal control reviews
- Ensure financial compliance and enhance internal control mechanism
 
 
Education and Experience:
• University graduate majoring in Accounting or Finance related disciplines i.e. CPA is preferable
• Native level in Japanese and Business Level English
• 5+ years relevant working experience related to accounting/financial reporting• • • Sound knowledge of international accounting principles and procedures. As well as local regulatory accounting principles and local taxation regulationKnowledge of general insurance accounting is highly preferable (both JGAAP and IFRS)
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (e.g. project management, payroll accounting…)
• Recognized accounting qualifications, i.e. US CPA is preferable
