Finance Manager - Cost Accounting

In this role, you will oversee the financial management of inventory, production yields, strategic investments, and accounting reconciliations. The Finance Manager will serve as a key partner to Operations and Supply Chain leadership, providing financial oversight on inventory health, yield performance, and operational liabilities. You will ensure the integrity of financial data while managing reserves, forecasting, and control processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of inventory management, manufacturing operations, and financial controls. This role requires a confident, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment. What you'll be doing: Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts. Foster a culture of excellence, providing ongoing feedback and career development guidance. Inventory & Reserve Management: Oversee the lifecycle of inventory finance, including the calculation, forecasting, and management of inventory reserves and releases. Yields & Operational Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and monitoring of production yields and other direct cost elements. Analyze yield performance and manage associated financial reserves and forecasting models. Financial Control & Reconciliations: Ensure the accuracy of the balance sheet through rigorous accounting reconciliations. Closing the books, compliance, audit, Validate accounts related to inventory, reserves, and operational accruals. PO & Liability Monitoring: Manage the monitoring of Purchase Orders (POs) and open liabilities to ensure accurate financial reporting. Investments Amortization: Oversee the tracking, reporting, and amortization of strategic operational investments. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and automation within the inventory and control functions. What we need to see: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience. MBA or CPA is significantly preferred. Minimum of 8 overall years proven experience in the high-tech sector with a background focused on Inventory Control, Operations Finance. At least 3 years of direct people management or team leadership experience. Experience with ERP systems, with a preference for SAP. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, manage conflicting priorities, and communicate complex financial data to non-finance executives. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Confidence, self-motivation, and high energy with the highest degree of ethics. Experience presenting financial strategies to senior executive leadership.
