Internship / Thesis Financial shared service Centre Amersfoort

The Kao Shared Service Centre in Amersfoort offers recurring internship and thesis opportunities for motivated students who want to be part of a dynamic, fast-growing, and international finance organization.

Are you looking for an internship or graduation assignment in Financial Accounting, Controlling, or Tax? Or are you curious about other finance-related opportunities within a Shared Service environment? Based on your profile and interests, we will connect you with managers within the Shared Service Centre and its business partners to explore suitable assignments in detail.

Examples of assignments include:

• Supporting day-to-day activities in audit, month-end closing, and variance analysis

• Preparing, reviewing, and analysing financial statements

• Assisting in monthly closing activities and performance analysis

• Preparing routine financial and management reports

• Ensuring compliance with company policies and supporting controllers in their activities

• Contributing to automation initiatives, including working with “Andy,” our finance robot

• Participating in special projects in the areas of financial and controlling excellence

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor or Master students in Finance, Economics, Tax, or related fields

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

• A proactive, results-oriented team player

• Hands-on mentality with a strong eagerness to learn

• Fluency in English and strong Excel skills (knowledge of additional European languages, such as German, is a plus)

• An open-minded attitude towards different cultures – our Shared Service Centre represents over 30 nationalities

Practical Information:

• Bachelor graduation or Master thesis/ internship

• Minimum duration: 5 months

• Beginning & Mid year start dates
