Finance Graduate Trainee

Finance Intern will be responsible for supporting the finance team in daily accounting operations, statutory compliance, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in finance and accounting concepts, with the ability to handle data accurately and efficiently. This role will work closely with different departments to collect, verify, and maintain financial data, assist in preparing MIS reports, support tax compliance, and participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.

● Support internal and statutory audit processes by compiling and submitting required data and documentation.
● Aid in the preparation and filing of GST/VAT returns and ensure timely compliance.
● Support in various direct and indirect tax compliance tasks, including TDS, income tax, etc.
● Perform General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
● Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
● Maintain accurate records and documentation as per internal control policies.

● Post-graduation in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (GST/VAT, TDS, Income Tax), and financial compliance.
● Proficiency in MS Excel and other data management/reporting tools.
● Hands-on experience or internship exposure in MIS reporting, reconciliations, and audit support is preferred.
● Good understanding of direct and indirect tax regulations and statutory compliance.
● Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
● Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple deadlines.
