Finance Director

Travelzoo has an opening for a Finance Director in New York.

Do you feel... 

Competent to assist with quarterly closings, financial statement consolidations and generate accurate and reliable financial reports and analysis

Motivated to work closely with the Finance team, Legal team and external auditors, provide documentation requested and answer all project-specific financial questions

Capable of monitoring tax filing timing and requirements and preparing tax deliverables to external tax partners as well as other tax compliance filings

Able to ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls, manage compliance and tax risks

Practiced in the analysis of financial statements and variances to budget

Qualified to assist with SEC filings

You are ideally… 

A degree educated professional with 10+ years experience in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Professional experience at a publicly traded U.S. based company required; experience working at a SPAC a plus.

Familiar with major accounting system applications and databases (Oracle, SAP, etc.)

Highly proficient in Workiva, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

A high performer with strong work ethic and sound judgement

An excellent communicator with strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills

Compensation range: $150,000 - $225,000
