Job Summary:

The Finance Director will lead EVA Pharma Medicine’s finance function in Egypt and across international markets, acting as a strategic partner to the Group CFO and executive leadership. This role requires balancing financial stewardship with commercial insight, ensuring sustainable growth, cash discipline, and compliance across diverse geographies.

The job holder should drive financial strategies, oversee multi-country operations, and build a world-class finance organization that supports EVA Pharma’s mission of expanding access to affordable medicines.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to shape pricing, margin, and investment strategies.
• Drive financial insights for portfolio decisions, product launches, and market expansion.
• Lead costing and profitability analysis to ensure competitive positioning and sustainable growth.
• Define and lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management cycles.
• Provide executive‑level reporting and decision support to the Board and senior leadership.
• Align financial planning with EVA Pharma’s innovation and global expansion agenda.
• Embed costing discipline across supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Optimize inventory, receivables, and working capital to strengthen resilience and cash conversion.
• Provide strategic oversight for operating sites and R&D investments, ensuring resources fuel innovation and long‑term value.
• Ensure integrity of accounting and financial reporting across diverse geographies.
• Oversee compliance with IFRS, local regulations requirements.
• Lead audits and maintain robust internal control frameworks.
• Reinforce governance standards, audit rigor, and enterprise risk management.
• Safeguard financial operations across Egypt and international markets.
• Build and empower a high‑performing, globally capable finance team.
• Position finance as a trusted strategic partner to commercial, supply chain, operations and R&D.
• Elevate finance capability to world‑class standards in line with EVA Pharma’s growth ambitions.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or professional qualification strongly preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA).
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with proven track record in senior or executive finance roles.
• Deep industry expertise in pharmaceuticals, healthcare or FMCG environments.
• Demonstrable experience managing multi-country or regional finance operations, particularly across emerging markets.
• Strong command of IFRS, financial controls, and governance standards in complex, regulated industries.
