Description

This role will report to the Finance Director – France, with accountability for the accuracy and completeness of accounting/finance matters. The successful candidate will have broad finance operations experience and strong accounting technical knowledge.

Location base: Lyon (on-site/Hybrid). With availability to travel in France.

Main task

Manage general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of all accounting records.

Perform month-end and year-end close processes.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.

Oversee and reconcile account balances and bank statements.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Coordinate audits (internal and external) and provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Support tax preparation and filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Develop and implement improved accounting procedures and internal controls.

Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals and decision-making.
