Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Finance and Accounting Associate to join our finance team. If you are an experienced professional with a knack for numbers and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.
• Work Schedule: US Hours (EST)
• Work Setup: Remote | Independent Contractor
• Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity
• Salary Range: $1,200 -1,500/ Month (USD)
• Perks: Unlimited PTO days + HMO (after probation)
• Payout: Semi-Monthly
• Equipment: Self-Provided
Key Responsibilities:
• Reconcile claims reimbursements from clients efficiently and accurately.
• Assist with various financial tasks as needed.
• Review and analyze each business transaction, particularly at high volume, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and record financial transactions.
• Employ Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Use Rippling for payroll and benefits administration.
• Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with business partners, clients, and team members.
• Confidently make phone calls to validate disputes and resolve issues with business partners or clients.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar finance role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
• Strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with Rippling is a significant advantage.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle high volumes of transactions and maintain accuracy.
• Confidence and professionalism in making phone calls to resolve disputes.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
