Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Finance & Operations Manager to take ownership of accounting, financial planning, inventory forecasting, and production scheduling. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems from the ground up, thrives in operational environments, and can bridge finance with supply chain and production functions.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening financial discipline, improving visibility into inventory and costs, and supporting scalable growth through strong process design and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
• Own full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS) tracking, and cost controls
• Manage accounts payable and payroll processes
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain internal controls
Inventory & Operations Finance
• Maintain and monitor inventory tracking across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
• Develop inventory forecasting, purchasing, and allocation models
• Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
Production Planning & Scheduling
• Lead production forecasting and capacity planning initiatives
• Design and manage production and shipping schedules
• Collaborate closely with sourcing and operations teams to align supply with demand
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Build and maintain FP&A models, including cash flow forecasting, working capital tracking, and margin analysis
• Develop reporting dashboards to support decision-making
• Establish scalable financial processes, tools, and systems
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (required)
• Experience in FP&A, operations finance, or supply chain finance strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and manufacturing cost structures
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
• Proven ability to build and implement processes from scratch
• Experience in CPG, manufacturing, or inventory-heavy environments preferred
