Job Description

Are you looking to start or resume a career in finance? We are seeking a finance administrator to join our busy department at our Head Office in East Sussex. Ideal for someone looking to take their first steps or return to what they know, this position within the Sales Ledger team will be responsible for customer transactions, credit control and account management. If you are well-organised with strong attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

This is a role with plenty of variety and opportunities to learn & progress, and support available for those wishing to pursue financial qualifications.

Main Duties:

• Sales Ledger Administration and Credit Control
• Daily bank reconciliation of receipts and payments
• Investigating & dealing with payment discrepancies
• Liaising with sites and customers
• Provide assistance across the whole department in general duties as required

Hours: 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday


Requirements:
• Ability to work as part of a team, accurately & efficiently to deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Experience of working on own initiative with internal & external customers
• Good IT knowledge, with knowledge of accounting software preferred
• Previous experience in a finance role would be an advantage
