Finance Administrator

Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Finance Administrator to join our Finance Team in Cape Town.

The position reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing customer invoices and credit notes daily

• Uploading customer payments via Internal systems daily

• Creating and managing the accuracy of customer accounts via Internal systems

• Management of customer accounts and relationships for timeous collection of Accounts Receivable balances

• Assisting with inter-company and inter-department queries and processing inter-company recharges for vouchers.

• Reconciliations: reconciling Accounts receivable Aging on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and money received is accurately allocated to the accounts receivable ledger.

• Reconciling voucher creation and invoicing at month end.

• May be required to perform additional ad hoc duties, as required within the department

• Investigate customer queries and addressing customer concerns in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in Finance administration role.

• Experience with financial software such as SAGE evolution an advantage

• Computer proficiency pertaining to MS Office is a prerequisite, strong excel skills

• Relevant Accounting Degree/Diploma
