As a VCSP Sales Systems Engineer at Veeam, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers and Cloud & Service Provider partners, helping them design, build, and scale resilient, consumption-based data protection and cyber recovery solutions.

You will play a critical role in enabling the Veeam Cloud and Service Provider Program (VCSP) by supporting partner-driven architectures, solution development, and go-to-market execution across hybrid, multi-cloud, and SaaS environments. This role blends deep technical expertise with strong partner-facing and executive engagement capabilities.

Territory Coverage

• Assigned enterprise and VCSP-aligned accounts within Mexico-CHN-Inside-3 and Mexico-CHN-Named-4

What You’ll Do

• Lead complex VCSP-focused pre-sales engagements, including discovery, solution design, architecture validation, and technical closure

• Act as the primary technical counterpart for VCSP partners, supporting solution development, onboarding, and enablement activities

• Translate enterprise customer and service provider business objectives into secure, scalable, consumption-based architectures aligned to the VCSP program

• Support solution selling motions by enabling partners to create Veeam-based offerings for cloud, hosting, and managed services use cases

• Deliver high-impact technical demonstrations, workshops, and executive-level presentations for customers and VCSP partners

• Design, manage, and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) aligned to partner offerings, operational realities, and customer success criteria

• Collaborate closely with VCSP Territory Managers, regional sales teams, and partners to technically qualify opportunities and advance them to closure

• Contribute to partner GTM initiatives, technical enablement sessions, and industry events to strengthen Veeam’s presence and credibility

• Provide technical thought leadership across data resilience, cyber recovery, and cloud-based service delivery models

• Maintain accurate technical engagement documentation and support CRM-driven opportunity management

Technologies You’ll Work With

• Hybrid Cloud, Multi-Cloud, and SaaS platforms

• Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV)

• Enterprise storage and infrastructure systems

• Cyber resilience, backup, recovery, and data protection technologies

• Cloud and service provider architectures supporting consumption-based models

What You’ll Bring

• 8–10+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or senior technical roles supporting enterprise and/or service provider environments

• Strong understanding of Cloud, Hosting, and Service Provider operating models, including managed services and consumption-based offerings

• Proven experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving partners, including discovery, solution design, POCs, and executive engagements

• Solid technical foundation across virtualization, infrastructure platforms, cloud services, networking, and security

• Foundational understanding of AI, machine learning, and LLMs, with the ability to articulate how resilient, trusted data platforms enable AI initiatives

• Knowledge of data security, privacy, governance, and regulatory considerations in enterprise and service provider environments

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior technical leaders, partner executives, and C-level stakeholders

Bonus Skills

• Experience working directly with Cloud, Hosting, or Managed Service Providers

• Hands-on knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems in enterprise or provider-scale deployments

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud-native architectures

• Background working with data protection, cyber resilience, or enterprise infrastructure vendors

• Experience supporting partner onboarding, enablement, or technical GTM activities
