About Your Role
The Field Supervisor (M&O) – Hand Grader supports facilities condition assessment (FCA) programs by identifying, documenting, and evaluating building systems and components across District sites. This role works closely with construction management teams, campus administrators, faculty, and staff to collect accurate building data, assess system conditions, and support long-term capital planning initiatives.
Education Requirements
Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
Candidates without a bachelor’s degree must have at least ten (10) years of relevant experience.
Four (4) years of the required experience may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis.
What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done
Six (6) or more years of full-time paid professional experience working with on-site construction management teams, campus administrators, faculty, and staff.
What You’ll Do
Identify and collect building component data on systems installed at District sites.
Utilize various computer platforms and mobile devices to document and enter survey data.
Apply construction knowledge and field experience to identify building systems concealed behind walls, ceilings, and floors.
Assess the overall condition and remaining service life (RSL) of building system components in accordance with FCA Unit guidance and District standards.
Collaborate with other trade surveyors to gather measurements, quantities, boilerplate information, and related field data.
Conduct and support ad hoc surveys related to District facilities and buildings as needed.
Support or supervise staff and survey participants as required and serve as a technical resource to team members.

Salary Requirements
$117,000.00 - $124,000.00 annually
