As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Field Supervisor to lead and support our team on multi-residential and commercial interior systems projects.
About the Role
The Field Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the daily operations of multiple construction sites and all construction activities within the established design, budget, and scheduling guidelines in collaboration with the Project Manager. They ensure projects are delivered safely, successfully, on time, and meet quality standards. The incumbent will balance their time between production accountability, preparing time sheets, supporting the site foreperson, and coordinating labour and material resources.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise site lead on interior systems installations (steel stud, drywall, ceilings, etc.)
Coordinate daily tasks, monitor progress, and communicate updates to project managers
Coordinate work with the other trades, know the scope of work
Ensure all work meets quality, code, and safety standards
Know production targets and work to ensure they are met
Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce OH&S procedures on site
Maintain materials inventory and report site needs proactively
Foster a respectful, productive, and professional job site culture
Qualifications
Strong experience in drywall, framing, ceilings, or interior systems (5+ years preferred)
Proven leadership ability on construction sites
Ability to manage schedules, delegate tasks, and solve on-site issues
Comfortable reading construction drawings and coordinating with trades
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Assets (Not Required)
Red Seal certification
Familiarity with fire-rated assemblies and commercial building codes
Previous experience supervising mid-sized construction teams
