As a Field Services Enablement Specialist at Ridgeline, you will play a critical role in shaping how customer data moves into our platform. You will act as a subject matter expert for migration workflows, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and scalability of start-of-day loads, transactions, and historical performance data. Working closely with Consulting, Product Management, and Customer Success, you will help design standardized migration methodologies, improve tools and documentation, and guide complex implementations. In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge technologies—including AI tools like ChatGPT—to improve documentation, streamline processes, and enable teams to deliver consistent and efficient migrations.

The impact you will have:


Serve as the primary subject matter expert for data migration workflows including start-of-day positions, transactions, and historical performance data


Develop and maintain standardized processes, playbooks, and tools that ensure consistent and scalable customer data migrations


Partner with Consulting teams to guide the execution of complex migrations and ensure accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation of migrated data


Collaborate with Product Management to ensure data-related features are designed with real-world implementation and deployment needs in mind


Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting efforts related to migration workflows and customer data ingestion


Enable internal teams and consulting partners through training programs, documentation, and best practice guidance for migration methodologies


Capture insights and lessons learned from customer implementations and incorporate them into improved migration frameworks and enablement materials


Lead partner enablement initiatives by onboarding and training data migration consultants within Ridgeline’s partner ecosystem


Manage partner collaboration by coordinating shadowing opportunities, aligning partners with Ridgeline methodologies, and maintaining clear communication channels


Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to refine migration tooling, validation methods, and operational processes while contributing to a collaborative and transparent culture

What we look for:


5+ years of experience with data migration in investment management software implementations


At least 1 year of hands-on experience performing data migrations on the Ridgeline platform


Expertise in portfolio accounting data structures including positions, transactions, and performance history


Strong understanding of reconciliation and data validation methodologies


Experience designing and refining repeatable migration workflows, tools, and methodologies


Proven ability to collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to resolve complex data challenges


Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and documentation skills


Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical processes into clear guidance for stakeholders


Curiosity and passion for mentoring and enabling others in data best practices


Willingness to learn about cutting-edge technologies while cultivating expertise in investment operations workflows


An aptitude for problem solving and communicating effectively in fast-paced environments


Serious interest in having fun at work

Bonus:


Exposure to APIs and data integration frameworks


Experience with AWS or serverless data processing environments


Experience supporting large-scale SaaS implementations or enterprise data migrations


Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence

Compensation and Benefits

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $183,000-$211,000 OTE. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
