Some days you are in a shiny Barton office fixing a dock that mysteriously decide overnight that there are no such things as "monitors". Other days you are driving across the lake because someone swears the internet “just disappeared”. Occasionally you end up in a building with no signage and security that politely pretends you were expected. And every now and then you end up at a government building that looks like it was designed by someone who really liked concrete.

What you will be doing

In this role you will:

• Provide onsite desktop and infrastructure support to clients across the Canberra region
• Troubleshoot issues across desktops, servers and networks
• Assist with project deployments and rollouts
• Install and configure servers, networking gear and other infrastructure
• Work with experienced Engineers and Technical Account Managers to maintain great client environments
• Build strong relationships with the people you support

Many of our field techs end up becoming the person clients call first when something strange happens.

Which in IT, is quite often.

Requirements:
What you will need

We are looking for someone who is technically capable but also good with people.

You will ideally bring:

• Solid experience with Microsoft AD, Exchange, Azure and Microsoft 365
• General networking knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Great written and spoken communication
• Good organisation and time management
• Experience working for an IT service provider or MSP (nice to have)
• A vehicle and full driver’s licence (required)
• Ability to obtain Australian Government security clearance is helpful but not essential
