Join our team as a Field Service Engineer specializing in industrial centrifugal separation equipment. You will execute corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance services, advise customers on improvements, and ensure compliance with GEA’s quality standards. This role requires travel to client facilities across Spain and Portugal and close collaboration with both internal teams and external customers.
Responsibilities / Tasks
• Execute corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on industrial centrifugal separation equipment.
• Follow service assignments as scheduled by the planning team.
• Travel to client sites throughout Spain and Portugal.
• Advise customers on equipment, installation, and production process improvements.
• Prepare detailed service reports, including work performed and improvement proposals.
• Ensure all services comply with established procedures and GEA’s quality standards.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain and improve technical skills.
Your Profile / Qualifications
• Residence in Portugal (ideally close to Porto or Lisbon).
• Industrial Mechatronics, Automation & Robotics, Automotive, or similar. Equivalent technical qualifications in related fields will also be considered.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a field service technician in a SAT department.
• Training and experience in mechanics and industrial electricity.
• Experience with industrial centrifuges is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills, customer focus, teamwork and flexibility.
• Commitment to safety and environmental best practices.
• Spanish & English proficiency (First Certificate) is a plus.
