Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Field Laborer / Pipe Layer to join our crew. This position involves assisting with the installation of underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm systems. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with installation of underground pipe (water, sewer, storm)

Set pipe grade using lasers and grade rods

Work in trenches and around heavy equipment safely

Load/unload materials and tools

Assist equipment operators and foremen as needed

Perform general labor duties such as shoveling, grading, and site cleanup

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

Prior experience in excavation, underground utilities, or construction preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Strong work ethic and reliability

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily

Valid driver’s license preferred

Knowledge of grades, trench safety, and pipe installation is a plus
