Field Installation Engineer (AI Startup)

We’re looking for a hands-on engineer to own the deployment of our AI edge systems at customer sites. You’ll assemble, configure, and install hardware cabinets, networking equipment, and camera systems — ensuring everything runs smoothly in real industrial environments.

Your Role

• Prepare and install full edge setups — cameras, compute nodes, and networking components

• Configure devices, test connectivity, and verify data flow from edge to cloud

• Develop and use automation scripts for faster installation, calibration, and verification

• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues across hardware, network, and software layers

• Coordinate component sourcing and logistics with the operations team

• Ensure every installation meets reliability, safety, and performance standards

Your Profile

• 3+ years in industrial hardware installation, systems integration, or field engineering

• Strong practical experience with Linux, networking, and device configuration

• Familiarity with edge computing, camera systems, or IoT deployments

• Proficiency in Bash or Python for setup automation and diagnostics is a plus!

• Comfortable working independently on customer sites (domestic & international travel)

Must have a valid driver's license to be able to transport equipment to client site and conduct installations

Expected to occasionally lift 30kg+
