Field Engineer - Beijing

As a Field Engineer on the Taboola News team in our Beijing Office, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of our content discovery system for global OEMs. You'll drive test plans, collaborate with stakeholders, and proactively tackle challenges to deliver seamless user experiences.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field.

• 1+ years of experience in APK/API testing, including mobile APK testing with tools like Monkey and ADB, and RESTful API testing with tools like Postman and Charles.

• Device flashing experience and the ability to perform mobile device performance testing.

• Proficiency in developing test cases, executing tests, analyzing results, and submitting accurate bug reports.

• Experience with configuration development using JS/Python/SQL technologies.

Bonus points if you have:

• Proven experience working in the mobile industry with top OEMs.

• CET-6 certification.

• Android app/front end/back end development experience.

• Performing thorough testing of APKs/APIs to ensure data accuracy, response times, and overall function reliability.

• Driving test plans, designing test cases, executing tests, and reporting on bugs and errors.

• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to improve test assets, processes, and methodologies.

• Performing basic configuration tasks according to OEM requirements.

• Proactively learning new tools, technologies, and environments to tackle challenges.

• Ensuring the delivery of expected quality and performance levels to OEMs.
