Job Description

The candidate should have expertise in Oracle architecture and SQL/PL-SQL optimization.

ETL tools (preferably Informatica), cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes), and

Python. The candidate should have experience in data modelling, big data, NoSQL,

source code management tools (e.g., Bitbucket/GIT), and performance tuning, with

strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with SnapLogic is a plus.

Requirements:
Detailed listing of essential and desirable skills is as follows:

Essential Skills / Experience

 Experience with Oracle architecture (preferably Oracle 18/19C)

 Hands on experience in writing complex SQL queries, Optimized PL/SQL blocks etc

 Should have command on partitioning, various indexing mechanism and advanced DB

concepts.

 Experience of using source code management tools, e.g. Bit Bucket/ GIT

 Experience in any ETL tool (preferably Informatica)

 Experience in Cloud technologies like AWS , Kubernetes etc.

 Experience in working with SnapLogic will be plus

 Should have hands on experience in Python

 Data Modelling tool ( e.g. ER studio )

 Good understanding of Big data and No-SQL

 Should understand how we can improvise the performance of SQL queries, stored

procedures etc.

 Should understand how Oracle SQL Tuning Advisor works

 Ability to think laterally, an enquiring mind with good analytical and problem-solving

capabilities

 Display a flexible attitude; be able to thrive in an ever-changing environment.

Desirable Skills / Experience

 Good knowledge of UNIX, Shell Scripting, u-deploy (or similar) and experience of

continuous integration

 Large scale software product engineering experience with contemporary tools and

delivery methods in a complex environment, i.e. Agile/SAFe, Test Modernization, CI/CD,

Cloud Solutions, and DevOps practices.

 End to end understanding of distribution data and its lifecycle

 Exposure to the Finance/Mutual Fund industry would be an advantage

 Expose to big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka

 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

 Diagnostic and analytical skills
