Job Description

Quiet Village Landscaping is looking for an experienced Fertilizer Technician to join our team! Do you love pristine green lawns? Do you love the outdoors and the independence of managing your own business? This may be the career for you.

Job Duties & Requirements:

Inspect client lawns and make recommendations on how to improve their appearance

Proper mixing and transportation of materials and chemicals

Ability to lift 50+ lbs without assistance

Application of proper amounts of fertilizers to achieve a healthy lawn

Proper identification of insect and disease issues

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Able to operate handheld tools & fertilization products, safely mix materials & chemicals, and quickly calculate ratios

Able and willing to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner on a daily basis

Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor

Current and proper applicator’s licenses and certifications (or willing to obtain immediately)

Class E driver’s license + clean driving record

Reliable form of transportation to work each day

$24+ per hour for experienced technicians - Someone who has 5+ years experience managing the same properties for several seasons and meets all of the pesticide licensing requirements. After learning the ropes, you'll be eligible to make commissions and bonuses; driving your income potential higher than any other fertilizer technician position in Saint Louis. We're serious!
