We are currently looking for Full or Part-Time Female Support Workers / Care Assistants to join our friendly, dedicated team supporting service users across Basildon and Laindon.
🚗 A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.

💷 Pay Rates
• Mon–Fri: £12.71 per hour
• Sat: £12.71 per hour
• Sun: £12.71 per hour
• Mileage: £0.30 per mile
⏰ Shift Patterns
Our services run 7 days a week, offering flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle:
• Day shifts: 7:00/8:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM
• Evening shifts: 3:00/4:00PM – 10:00 PM
• Sleep-in / Waking nights: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
🌟 Your Role as a Support Worker / Care Assistant
You’ll play a vital role our female service user to live independently, with dignity and confidence. No two days are the same—you’ll be supporting service users at home and in the community, making a real difference every day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting individuals with daily living activities and personal care
• Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
• Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests, and community activities
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with meal preparation, household tasks, and medication
• Supporting mobility and rehabilitation after hospital stays

• 💊 Medication Management – collecting prescriptions, reminders, safe administration
• 🍲 Nutrition & Mealtimes – cooking nutritious meals, considering dietary needs
• 🏡 Housekeeping – light cleaning, laundry, tidying
• 🚶 Mobility Assistance – transfers, walking support, use of aids
• 👀 Health Monitoring – observing and reporting changes in condition
• 🌍 Social Inclusion – helping maintain community and family connections
• 💬 Emotional Support – empathy, reassurance, and a listening ear
• 📝 Documentation – accurate record keeping
• 🛡️ Safety & Emergency Response – creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed
• 🤝 Collaboration – working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families

We welcome both experienced carers and those new to care—full training is provided.
We are seeking individuals who are:
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient
• Reliable, flexible, and self-motivated
• Strong communicators with good people skills
• Observant, attentive, and organised
• Able to work independently while following care plans
Essential:
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Right to work in the UK
