About the Role
We are seeking a data-driven and analytical DATA Senior Decision Scientist to support enterprise-wide decision-making through advanced analytics, data insights, and business intelligence solutions. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to analyze complex datasets, identify trends and opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive business growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to solve business problems and is comfortable working with statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive modeling techniques. You will contribute to strategic initiatives by transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support informed business decisions.
This role requires strong collaboration skills, curiosity, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The position operates with a moderate level of independence while receiving guidance and mentorship from senior team members.
What You’ll Do
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and business opportunities
• Apply statistical, mathematical, and quantitative techniques to solve medium-scale business problems
• Build descriptive and explanatory models or leverage existing predictive models to support business strategies
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA), hypothesis testing, and data validation exercises
• Develop actionable insights and recommendations that support operational efficiency, growth, and profitability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Data Engineering, Data Science, and business stakeholders
• Collect, integrate, and transform data from multiple sources into cohesive datasets for analysis
• Assess data quality and apply data hygiene techniques to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency
• Support monitoring and deployment of predictive models into business workflows
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to business partners and leadership in a clear and concise manner
• Use storytelling and data visualization techniques to simplify complex information for decision-making
• Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues in partnership with technical teams
• Stay informed on emerging analytics, decision science, and machine learning methodologies and best practices
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities to enhance technical and business expertise
Requirements:
• Experience in data analytics, decision science, business intelligence, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data wrangling and transformation
• Basic to intermediate experience with statistical analysis and machine learning concepts
• Proficiency with SQL and Python for data analysis and reporting
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Familiarity with Snowflake and cloud-based data environments is a plus
