Family Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care / Primary Care

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient and urgent care services in Monroe, North Carolina. This full-time onsite role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care through accurate assessments, evidence-based treatment planning, and preventive healthcare services.

The Nurse Practitioner will work in a busy outpatient medical environment, collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to support efficient operations and positive patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including physical examinations and detailed medical history assessments
• Diagnose and manage both acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized care plans based on clinical findings and diagnostic results
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
• Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of advanced practice licensure
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to maintain effective patient flow
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, medication adherence, disease prevention, and lifestyle management
• Document patient encounters accurately using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Deliver care for both routine outpatient visits and urgent medical concerns
• Maintain compliance with medical regulations, clinical protocols, and healthcare standards

Requirements:
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina or eligibility for licensure
• National certification through AANP or ANCC in Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, or related specialty
• Previous experience in urgent care, primary care, or outpatient clinical settings strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
