We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specializing in pain management to join our growing healthcare team in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients experiencing acute and chronic pain, focusing on improving quality of life through evidence-based treatment plans.
Location : Louisville, KY or Indiana (e.g., Jeffersonville, Indiana )
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical exams
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and non-pharmacologic therapies
Prescribe medications in compliance with Indiana state regulations
Perform or assist with pain management procedures (if applicable)
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and medication use
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (FNP program)
Active and unrestricted Indiana Nurse Practitioner license
Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC or FNP-C)
DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pain management (preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and opioid management
Knowledge of interventional pain procedures (a plus)
Familiarity with EMR systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
