Hiring Immediately – Family Law Paralegal
Equal Justice Law Group
Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Equal Justice Law Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Family Law Paralegal to join our growing team. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional who can confidently manage cases from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated paralegal who wants to advance their career and play a key role in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage family law cases from inception through trial and post-judgment proceedings
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
Conduct legal research and analyze case law
Prepare and organize documents for depositions, mediations, and trials
Maintain regular client communication, including case updates and responses to inquiries
Electronically file pleadings and ensure proper service on all parties
Review and analyze financial records and supporting documentation
Coordinate with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Track court deadlines and maintain accurate, organized case files
Skills & Qualifications
Strong ability to analyze legal issues and assist in developing case strategy
Proficiency in legal drafting and research
Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
High level of professionalism and client-focused demeanor
Familiarity with case management software and e-filing systems
Education & Experience Requirements
Paralegal Degree (Required)
Family Law Experience (Required)
Paralegal experience: 2 years (Preferred)
Customer service experience: 2 years (Required)
Microsoft Office experience: 3 years (Preferred)
