About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Factory Cleaner - Nights (Industrial Cleaner) to join our team. As a Factory Cleaner, you will be responsible for deep cleaning all areas of the factory including the abattoir, ensuring a clean and safe working environment for production. This is a crucial role that plays a vital part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the facility.
Main Responsibilities:
• Ensure all areas of the factory are clean and tidy, meeting health and safety standards.
• Dispose of waste appropriately.
• Sweep and wash floors.
• Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies.
• Follow health and safety procedures and policies.
• Pre-wash down areas including floors, walls, belts, and machinery as required.
• Operate tray wash equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders.
• Deep clean machinery including belts, framework, walls, floors, ceilings, and lights.
• Follow cleaning instruction cards according to the area.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 19:00 until 05:00.
Full-time contract.
Your own transport is required due to our location and the times of Public transport links to Bodmin
Pay:
You can earn up to £33,790 per year. (£14.44 per Hour)
Requirements:
Requirements:
• Full training will be provided.
• Preferred experience within a meat processing or factory environment
• Prior experience in industrial cleaning or food production is preferred
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines and HACCP
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment as require
