Facility Technician

Now we are looking for a Facility Technician. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·       To provide ongoing maintenance and support of the company`s building systems and be able to fix the minor defects

·       Supervise and escort specialists and sub-contractors working with the building technical systems

·       Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities, as needed

·       Makes plumbing repairs and replacements as necessary

·       Performs basic electrical work and determines when an electrician is required

·       Performs cosmetic repairs, such as local wall painting, plastering and painting

·       Performs basic HVAC works and repairs, such as filters replacement

·       Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences

·       Repairs building’s hardware equipment, such as doors, windows etc.

·       Dismantles and installs and repairs furniture if required

·       Transport goods or equipment as assigned

.       Fully able to perform tile work (floor and wall ceramic tiles), installation and replacement, including arrangement of hydro-insulation and preparation of cement-sand mortar in correct proportions, cutting of tiles per required size and shape

.       Basic work on steel - cutting, drilling, polishing, treating, and painting. Candidates able to work with welding machine will have preference

 

• Secondary (higher, special etc.) education
• Excellent knowledge of Georgian and basic English (writing)
• At least 2 years’ experience in building systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
• High sense of responsibility.
• The ability to work in a team.
• PC literacy – MS Word, MS Excel
