We’re currently seeking a highly motivated Facilities Project Manager – Aviation
located in Dallas, TX.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field
Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Preferred certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP)
Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
8+ years of project management experience
5+ years of facilities or capital project management experience in the aviation space, gained at any airport (commercial service, hub, regional, municipal, or international)
Experience delivering projects in active, occupied, secure airport environments
Demonstrated ability to manage consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working at a large hub or complex airport environment
Experience coordinating projects with airlines, tenants, and airport operations
Familiarity with airport operational constraints and secure-area construction
Experience with CM-at-Risk, Design-Build, and Design-Bid-Build delivery methods
Responsibilities:
Manage aviation facilities projects from planning through closeout
Develop scopes of work, schedules, cost estimates, and budgets
Manage multiple concurrent projects in occupied, operational airport facilities
Ensure compliance with DFW Design Standards, airport procedures, and applicable codes
Coordinate design reviews, construction activities, and phased implementation plans
Serve as primary point of contact between airport departments, consultants, contractors, airlines, and tenants
Coordinate closely with Operations, Facilities Maintenance, Safety, and Security
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contractor pay applications
Monitor cost and schedule performance and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, local building codes, and life-safety requirements
Support safety, quality assurance, and secure-area construction protocols
Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates
Maintain accurate project documentation and support audits and closeout
Work performed in active terminal, landside, and airside environments
May require night, weekend, or phased work support
Ability to walk job sites and access mechanical and restricted areas
Must successfully complete DFW badging, background check, and security requirements
Salary:
130k-150K annually or DOE
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management’s discretion.
