Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports the day-to-day upkeep and repair of Beck Auto Group and Beck Sloan Properties. This role requires hands-on problem-solving skills and a working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry to ensure all facilities remain in safe and working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.

Complete light repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry as needed.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.

Assist with general upkeep of all properties, including cleanliness and safety checks.

Adapt to a wide range of tasks—no two days will be the same.

Communicate with the Director of Facilities Maintenance to prioritize tasks and report on completed work.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Ensure safety procedures and company guidelines are followed at all times.

Complete other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in building maintenance or a related trade.

Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Must be flexible, adaptable, and reliable.

Valid driver’s license required.
