JOB SUMMARY:
Incumbent will assist the Facilities Manager in ensuring the facilities are clean and operational. Assist with the inspection and repair of the SGE facilities. Assist with the supervision of the maintenance and cleaning staff. Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist the Facilities Manager to ensure the SGE facilities are maintained to high standards (clean and safe environment) and operational.
2. Responsible for supervising the Facilities Maintenance Associates.
3. Responsible for the training of Facilities Maintenance Associates to follow established policies and procedures.
4. Responsible for the scheduling of the Facilities Maintenance Associates to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner.
5. Assist with the upkeep of building and all repairs.
6. Assist with grounds keeping, landscaping is always clean, and in winter months plowed and salted.
7. Completes paperwork and work orders in a timely manner.
8. Maintains a neat and orderly area.
9. Responsible for accurately monitoring and documenting daily attendance records according to policies and procedures.
10. Responsible for employee evaluations being completed in an efficient timely manner.
11. Assist in conducting departmental meetings; attends mandatory meetings and in-services.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have knowledge and experience operating power tools. Must have two (2) years’ experience in general maintenance and supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
