People Architects is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Cleveland to hire a Facilities Engineer (Electrical) who will play a critical role in keeping plant operations running safely, reliably, and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the plant floor—solving problems in real time, improving systems, and making a direct impact on production uptime.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll be the go-to electrical expert for the facility, owning both day-to-day reliability and longer-term improvements:
Maintain and improve plant electrical power distribution, controls, and instrumentation systems
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and controls issues to minimize downtime
Support and lead capital projects from scope through commissioning
Work with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus)
Develop and drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Update electrical documentation including single-line diagrams and schematics
Partner with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Engineering on plant improvements
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and site safety standards
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
3+ years in chemical, specialty materials, or industrial manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with power distribution, motor controls, PLCs, and industrial networks.
Strong problem-solving, project management, and collaboration skills.
