Job Description
Summary
The Facilities Electrician is responsible for performing day-to-day electrical maintenance and repair of all plant, office, grounds and warehouse space and infrastructure for Mack Technologies Florida, Inc. Reports to the Facilities Supervisor, and works closely with Facility team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all electrical repair and maintenance of basic production equipment.
Adhere to preventative maintenance program and schedules.
Coordinate with Facilities Supervisor on performing day-to-day work orders.
Implement good housekeeping practices throughout the facility.
Set-up and operate all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.
Perform line and office moves as required, as well as related electrical needs working closely with Facilities Supervisor.
Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space.
Usage of Manned Lift (Lift Training required) and usage of eight-foot step ladder to perform various duties as needed.
Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent technical education.
Fully licensed in State of Florida (proof of commercial licensure required).
Must have experience with three-phase power.
5+ years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
Forklift and scissor lift certifications preferred.
Background in Facilities/Maintenance and knowledge of electrical, carpentry, HVAC
Able to troubleshoot, assess and implement solutions and ability to use hand tools to complete most tasks.
OSHA training, such as lock out tag out, confined space, and hazardous materials
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter, reliable and able to perform duties with little or no supervision.
Able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
A hands-on, team player used to working in a highly dynamic and changing environment.
Ability to prioritize and organize workload to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to work perform other duties as requested by Facilities Supervisor, and work flexible hours as necessary.
