Essential Duties:
Performs all tasks as directed by Supervisor.
Performs all tasks as directed by Supervisor.
Performs general facilities technician work such as working with commercial vendors, changing air filters, changing light bulbs, fire system work, handling incoming deliveries, small plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, minor HVAC repairs or replacements, painting, periodic small construction projects and other building maintenance needs.
Perform outside grounds work such as sprinkler repairs, lighting repairs, parking lot repairs, mowing, edging, planting, periodic outdoor improvement projects.
Performs room setups for events on campus such as making coffee for events, cleaning commercial coffee pots, moving tables and chairs between various portions of the building and setting them up in each room and area as directed.
This position needs to be available to perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, light fixtures, carpet, and tile floors, operates floor maintenance equipment, including buffers and vacuums, replenishing restroom or other types of supplies and applying cleaning chemicals, sanitize items in children’s areas, monitor inventory and restock restroom supplies. Experience and knowledge of janitorial equipment and chemicals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Standing, bending, and lifting for hours at a time.
This position will often, if not always, work, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Able to read and communicate in English.
Shift Hours
Shift hours will vary day to day and week to week. 25-29 hours per week Monday through Sunday.
Requirements:
Be able to interpret schedules and work duties.
Will need experience and knowledge using janitorial equipment and chemicals.
Ability to understand and read English
Repetitive motion involved daily may include, but not limited to, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting.
Can work independently.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Facilities Maintenance Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
