Reports to: Director of Facilities
Job Summary: This position supports the mission and vision of Mountain Springs Church (MSC) by maintaining the presentation and appearance of the facility which greatly impacts an individual’s first impression. The Facilities Coordinator must have the gift of grace, a friendly demeanor, as well as the ability to handle multiple ongoing tasks.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all forms of correspondence including voicemail, e-mail, and regular mail
Maintenance and repair of mechanical and building systems
Light electrical/plumbing and drywall repair
Ground maintenance
Snow/ice removal as needed
Assist with building projects of various sizes
Ordering and oversight of facilities supplies
Stand in for Director of Facilities when he or she is away from the building
Scheduling and meeting with contractors
Perform other duties as assigned or requested
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous maintenance experience preferred

Developed and honed communication skills and interpersonal awareness
Ability to multi-task and prioritize decisions
Sensitive and skilled in dealing with differing behaviors, feelings and values
Enjoy working collaboratively with a staff team
Recognizes own limits and embraces the expertise of other staff
Ability to work independently under minimal direction and supervision
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Adequate transportation to complete job responsibilities in a timely manner
Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking/sitting
Manual dexterity and mobility
Visual and auditory acuity
Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds
Exposed to a variety of electromechanical hazards
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations

Attendance and punctuality consistent with job requirements
Appearance appropriate for task per agency and department dress code
Standard of conduct according to MSC Conduct Code
Adherence to MSC Personnel Guidelines
Regularly attend scheduled/assigned staff meeting and MSC worship services
Uses resources in a cost-effective manner
Operates needed equipment efficiently and effectively
Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with all employees
