Facade QA/QC Engineer

Meraki Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facade QA/QC Engineer to join our dynamic quality assurance team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all facade installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the construction process. You will play a key role in evaluating materials, monitoring construction techniques, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes specific to facade systems.
• Conduct inspections of facade materials and assemblies to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Review and approve method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs) related to facade installation.
• Coordinate and supervise site activities focusing on facade quality, including material delivery inspections and installation checks.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and quality reports.
• Identify non-conformities and work with subcontractors and the project team to develop corrective action plans.
• Ensure all quality-related documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible.
• Act as a liaison between project management, contractors, and consultants to facilitate effective communication on quality issues.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in facade construction.
• Strong understanding of facade materials, construction methodologies, and relevant building codes.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing ITPs, method statements, and quality assurance documentation.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection techniques specific to facade systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
