Facade Paneling Estimator / Takeoff Specialist

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Virtual Assistant specializing in facade paneling takeoffs and estimates. In this role, you will be a key part of our pre-construction workflow — turning architectural drawings into accurate material quantities and competitive bids, specifically ACM paneling, glass facade, and curtain wall scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed material takeoffs for facade systems — with primary focus on ACM paneling, architectural glass facades, curtain walls, and storefront assemblies
• Read and interpret shop drawings, architectural elevations, and project specifications to extract precise panel dimensions and quantities
• Prepare itemized estimates covering materials, labor, fasteners, glazing components, sub-framing, and ancillaries
• Produce organized takeoff reports and bid documents in Excel, PDF, or client-preferred formats
• Review and cross-check all estimates for accuracy before submission

Requirements:
What we're looking for:

• Proven experiencein facade, cladding, or exterior envelope takeoffs and estimating
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, elevations, shop drawings, and specs — especially for metal and glass systems
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for quantity tracking and estimating
• Work closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations.
