Job Description

Reporting to the Fabrication Lead Hand, we are actively looking for a Fabricator.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Review and interpret engineering drawings to fabricate metal parts and assemblies.

Forming, rolling, tacking, measuring metal assemblies.

Peer review others to ensure parts worked on match drawing/customer expectations and are within tolerances.

Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements including: time-tracking, quality assurance, operation completion, and ISO 9001/AS9100D.

Mechanical assembly of overall systems and mechanical assemblies.

Champion a safe and clean department.

 Required Skills:

Journeyman Fabricator, Red Seal Fabricator or equivalent experience.

Broad background in fabrication, forming, rolling, welding, waterjet, sawing and abrading all types of materials. Stainless steel and austenitic stainless steel material use is an asset.

Knowledge of CWB and/or AWS welding standards. CWB welding qualification and welding supervisor qualification are assets.

ERP usage for planning, scheduling and managing work required. ProShop ERP experience is an asset.

Adaptable in rapidly-changing environments.
