Fabrication & Welding Technician

Job Summary
This position supports Sentry’s fabrication shop with a focus on cutting, welding, and assembling steel components. The right candidate should have experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting and be comfortable working at a specific station while also helping where needed.

We are willing to train the right person who shows up ready to work, communicates well, and takes pride in learning new skills.

Responsibilities
- MIG and Dual Shield welding
- Plasma cutting and material preparation
- Grinding and finishing work
- Reading basic shop drawings
- Measuring, layout, and material prep
- Operating fabrication equipment
- Quality checks on finished parts
- Safe material handling
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
- Supporting other shop operations as needed

Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or fabrication shop background
- Welding experience
- Familiarity with cutting and grinding tools
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and be trained

Pay Range
$20–$30 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements
Candidate must be able to pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screening.
