🔍 What You’ll Do
Fabrication & Machinery Operation (70%)
Fabricate custom exhibition stands, scenic elements, and structures
Operate key machinery such as CNC router, panel saw, and edge bander
Build joinery and structural components from technical drawings
Assemble components for finishing and installation
Maintain craftsmanship standards and workshop quality
Assist with preparing builds for transport to events
Production Planning & Coordination (30%)
Review drawings and plan fabrication workflows
Schedule workshop tasks to meet deadlines
Coordinate material requirements and ordering
Work with designers and project managers on build feasibility
Identify build challenges and propose practical solutions
Manage priorities across multiple projects
Workshop Oversight
Maintain workshop organisation and workflow efficiency
Oversee machinery care, usage, and safe operation
Conduct quality control checks prior to dispatch
Support installation teams for complex builds
Health & Safety
Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment
Comply with WHS procedures and safe machine operation
Ensure correct setup and safe processes are consistently followed
✅ What You Bring
Essential
5+ years’ experience in joinery, fabrication, exhibition build, or scenic construction
Strong experience operating CNC routers, panel saws, and edge banders
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience building custom joinery or exhibition structures
Strong practical problem-solving skills
Highly Desirable
Experience in exhibition stand construction
Knowledge of modular exhibition systems
Experience supporting on-site event installations
Forklift licence
