The Fixed Asset Specialist is responsible for completeness, accuracy and timeliness of operations in the fixed asset accounts.
Moreover, he/she takes part in accounts’ analysis and supports senior colleagues in carrying out responsibilities of the accounting department and cooperates with auditors.
He/she follows Desktop Procedures and adequate policies and guidelines in place and seeks for improvements.
Performance should meet the requirements defined in the SLA/KPI’s applicable for the role.
Reporting Line: Reporting to FA Team Leader
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining Fixed Asset modules
• Processing Fixed Asset transactions and data entry for additions, capitalizations, retirement, changes
• Performing regular analyses of the FA account variances and FA reconciliation
• Ensuring there are no outstanding transactions that are not completed before closing
• Performing Fixed Asset Month End closing complying with the requirements and deadlines
• Performing additional tasks on request of senior colleagues
• Preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports as requested by local team, management
• Following adequate rules, policies, procedures and instructions
• Providing support and documentation during Internal and External Audits
• Performing controls according to ICOFR framework
• Assisting with monthly KPI preparation
 
PROFILE
• Bachelors Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance - required
• 1+ years of professional experience in Fixed Assets - required
• General knowledge of accounting rules - required
• Experience in financial systems (knowledge of Oracle E Business Suite is nice to have)
• Familiarity with excel – intermediate level - required
