Extracurricular Internship: Software Test Automation Engineer (f/m/div.)

Your contribution to something big:

Are you passionate about smart home technology and ready to make a real impact ? We're seeking a talented individual to join our Bosch Home Comfort team in Aveiro. You'll contribute to the development of a modern mobile application, designed to connect and control the next-generation IoT ecosystem of Bosch Air Conditioners and residential heating products.

In this position you will:

• Actively collaborate in a multidisciplinary Quality Assurance team;
• Learn more about software testing principles, tools and processes by engaging across all phases of the project’s software development lifecycle;
• Gain hands-on experience with a state-of-the-art test automation framework and contribute to its continuous improvement;
• Design, develop and maintain automated test cases for critical user flows and complex edge scenarios;
• Get involved in technical discussions, influencing testing approaches and collaboratively solving complex quality challenges.

What distinguishes you: 

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar;
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Python programming;
• Interest in software development and software quality assurance;
• Quality oriented mindset, proactivity and motivated for team work;
• Ability to collaborate in an international team environment;
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Duration: 12 months
