Job Title: External Audit Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced External Audit Manager. This role is pivotal in leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of auditing standards, and a proven track record in managing external audits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee multiple audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Develop and execute audit strategies and plans tailored to client needs.
• Review and approve financial statements and reports and ensure compliance with IFRS and ISA standards.
• Manage, train, and mentor the audit team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
• Monitor engagement budgets and timelines to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations, accounting standards, and best practices.
• Support business development initiatives and assist in preparing proposals for new clients.
Requirements:
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of external audit experience, preferably with a reputable accounting firm.
• Minimum 1 year as Audit Manager
• JCPA is a must
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Demonstrated experience in managing audit teams and engagements.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High level of analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
