Walmart is hiring Landscape Technician Operators!  You will make an impact as a year - round Landscape Technician by keeping landscapes attractive, clean, and well maintained. This includes moving lawns, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers. You must love working outdoors in different types of weather and enjoy physical labor. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Exterior Services Technician, DOT Operator for our commercial landscaping team in Lilburn, GA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for our commercial clients while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

• Operate and maintain various commercial landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and edgers
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides as needed, following safety guidelines and local regulations
• Operate DOT-regulated equipment in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance
• Implement proper safety protocols and procedures while on job sites
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• DOT certification
• Previous experience in commercial landscaping or related field
• Experience operating DOT equipment
• Proficiency in operating commercial landscaping equipment
• Knowledge of lawn care and maintenance techniques
• Basic understanding of horticulture and plant care
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina and strength to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
