This includes moving lawns, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers. You must love working outdoors in different types of weather and enjoy physical labor. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Exterior Services Technician, DOT Operator - DS to join our team in Arlington, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetics and safety of our exterior spaces while operating Department of Transportation (DOT) vehicles.

• Perform comprehensive landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, and pruning throughout the year
• Maintain parking lots, building exteriors, and surrounding ground areas to ensure a clean and professional environment
• Operate and maintain DOT vehicles and equipment in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds and equipment to identify and address potential issues
• Collaborate with team members to achieve landscaping and exterior maintenance goals
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and seasonal requirements for grounds upkeep
• Travel to various locations as needed to perform essential job functions
• Adhere to the highest standards of safety, security, and integrity in all work activities
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure satisfaction with exterior services

• Valid state-issued driver's license held for at least 3 years, with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• Successful completion of a driver's road test for combination truck and trailer operation
• Capability to obtain appropriate licensing and/or endorsements for operating in the State, if required
• Strong communication skills, both in person and using telecommunications equipment
• Physical ability to operate, inspect, and maintain landscaping and DOT equipment
• Thorough understanding of and adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Experience in landscaping, agriculture, general maintenance, or retail preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Proven time management abilities and adaptability to changing demands
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively towards common goals
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques and grounds maintenance procedures
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment upkeep and troubleshooting
• Ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions
• Detail-oriented approach to work with a focus on maintaining high-quality exterior spaces
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
