Job description
Position: Landscaping Operative
Location: Alfreton
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Basic salary from £27,340k per annum
Reporting To: Team Leader
The Role
Working as a Landscaping Operative, you will travel between sites in the company van ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base.
This is an opportunity for someone to work within a small landscaping team assisting with projects requiring both soft and hard landscaping. A large amount of travel is involved within this role
Your main duties will include:
• To assist with the completion of landscaping dockets
• To complete timesheets and ensure all paperwork is handed in promptly
• To act at all times as a representative of the company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied
• To initiate suggestions and report customer comments for improvement to the company’s performance
• To comply with all relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Undertake other duties as required by management
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
• Full UK drivers licence
• Garden maintenance experience is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential
As part of your role, you will be required to;
• Always act in a professional manner as a representative of the organisation.
• Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
• Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
• Initiate suggestions to improve the organisations performance
• Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
